Hello Brianna. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx

Jerry, With the unit making a loud grinding type noise this would be a faulty bearing and would need the rear outer tub 131525500.

Rick, The bearing would be a likely cause for the grinding noise. For the issue with the knocking you will want to check the drive block on the unit to make sure that it is not damaged.

Brooks for Model Number 110.26732500

During spin cycle the washer tub is noisy because the tub bonks against the outer housing of the machine. Seems to be getting worse over time, no matter how carefully we balance the load. Would you guess that I would be more likely to need to be replaced like the bearings or the drive block? If this isn't enough information, when I take it apart tomorrow to investigate, what clues should I look for to figure out which part(s) need replacement? Thanks

Hello Brooks, You will most likely need to replace the skate plate WP3946509 and verify there is a liquid in the balance ring WP387240 at the top of the of the spin basket for balancing.

Suzee, With this issue occurring during wash and rinse then it would more likely be an issue with the agitator cam kit. The cam kit would be part number WP8537433.

Hello Jenny, The part number you provided is a washer part, not for the dryer. I would recommend replacing the tub support 280184 since it is easy to damage the new parts during thier installation. If you absolutely must change them instead of the assembly, use a chisel to remove the old ones and a socket that barely fits into the openings the bearings install into so they are not damaged at all when driving them into position. They have to go in dry so they will not spin in the assembly and should be greased after installed before the shaft is inserted during the units' re-assembly. If the part in question is in fact in the dryer, we will need to know specifically what part you need to replace in the dryer. As a note, the model provided is not a Duet model number but a Whirlpool Stacked Laundry machine.

Deb, It would be recommended to check the drain pump with the noise occurring during the draining of the unit. Check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the pump and check to make sure that the pump is moving freely. If this is occurring during just the spin cycle then this would be a issue with the bearing.

Burke for Model Number Whirlpool LSQ8243HQ0

Machine is leaking water out the bottom. I've replaced the tub seal and the pump but still have the leak. It seems to be coming from the center shaft and down over the transmission. The transmission works fine and it's not making any loud or grinding noises. I'm not familiar with all the seals around the shaft so I was hoping someone would be able to tell me if the seals would solve this problem. Machine works great but the leak is a pain. Thanks.

Hello Burke. If the unit is leaking from the gasket W10814296, you will need to replace it in the unit. This is the seal for that shaft area. Also, make sure the tub is not cracked. You will want to locate the source of the leak.
