The Sabbath Mode overrides the 12-hour shut-off and can either be set to come on automatically or can be set manually as desired. Ken, You could use a 3 or 4 wire power supply. The terminal block has 3 connectors with a grounding strap. If you have a power supply with a ground then the grounding strap would connect to the center terminal which is your neutral. The other 2 wires go to the outside.
