1 Answer Joe, The F2 error code indicates a long drain time, and the SUD code indicates a suds lock suds in tub during wash cycle. Check and make sure you're using the proper type and amount of detergent and there aren't any suds in the water when the washer is run through a cycle with no load. If all is OK, and before you replace the water level switch WPW10514214 / WPW10514214 remove power to the washer, remove the top panel and then remove the water level switch. Check and make sure there are no loose wires or connections at the switch. Remove the air tube from the switch, check to make ure it's not twisted or kinked, blow in the end of the tube, this will usually clear any sediment or debris that may accumulate in the air tube and affect the air flow, causing the error codes. Reattach the wires and hose and recheck the washer operation. Replace the water level switch if the problem persists. Read More...
Nestor C October 24, 2016 for Model Number kenmore 11042832201 Washer doesn't go to fast spin cycle. It fills, it drains, it turns but when is time to go to fast spin 3-4 min it just idles and then the display shows F02. Is not clogged, I just installed a door lock and also a door hinge.
1 Answer Nestor, With getting a Long drain error you will want to check the pressure hose to make sure that it is not clogged. Normally this issue would be that or the pressure switch not resetting. If these check ok then the main control board would be the issue. Read More...

Greg March 09, 2016 for Model Number 11045087404 I had sears replace the bearings. They said that made it go. F6 still showed. They said F6 indicated a bad CCU. I replaced the CCU and the test run worked fine. I did a load and it worked fine on regular wash. I did another load, kids' jeans), and it shut down just before rinse and spin. It displayed the F6 an stopped. Is my motor or the motor control board bad? The motor seems to work fine.
1 Answer Hello Greg, As per the tech sheet the F6 is a Drive Motor Tachometer Error. The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after three minutes. 1. Verify the shipping system including shipping bolts, spacers and cables are removed. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 5. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. 6. Check the drive motor for powered rotations. Read More...
