Jose April 11, 2022 On a control board for a washer mashing was does rev stand for by the part number and would u have to get the same rev letter if replacing
1 Answer Jose, There would be revision numbers assigned to control boards but you may get one that would be a different letter or number if there was another revision that came along. These are most likely just minor change in the board or made by a different vendor than the original. Read More...

Chuck February 15, 2022 for Model Number WED8300SW2 Is the main control board WPW10111606 what controls the timer on the dryer cycles? Whenever we run casual or delicate and it starts out at 40 minutes. After 45 minutes the time has actually increased to 60 minutes. We have to manually stop the dryer.
1 Answer Hello Chuck, dryer cycle times are determined by the main control board as it sees the wet clothes hitting the sensor bars. The initial time shown is an estimated time based on previous cycle times with the same selection and clothes load, estimated time can change and be shorter or longer as the board recalculates this during the cycle. If you also have the Wrinkle Shield option selected that will add 60-90 minutes of unheated tumbling at the end of the normal cycle. Read More...

Jose Nieto July 24, 2020 for Model Number 7MMVWX500YW1 I replaced the control board on a Maytag Bravos whasher with part W10253361 rev F. The original was W10253361 rev E. The new board doesn’t even let the washer turn on, I attempted several times to run the calibration routine without success. When I returned the older one at least has power and I was able to run calibration routine. Is the rev F board not compatible? Do I need to run a reset or any other revision upgrade routine or the issue is due to a defective new board?
1 Answer Jose N, Based on the information provided the manufacturer shows the control part number to be our part number W10480319 (Mfg.#W10480319). Read More...
Erik March 31, 2020 for Model Number WED8300SW2 I replaced the control board on a whirlpool duet sport dryer with part w10111606 rev D. The original was w10111606 rev E. The new board doesn’t even let the dryer turn on. The older one that was displaying F 01 error code at least has power. Is the rev D board not compatible?
1 Answer Erik, the revision can play a role in not operating components properly. However, it is recommended that the wires are checked to ensure that there are no loose connections and that the main control WPW10111606 is tested at connection P9 pin 2 for 120VAC. If there is 120VAC, the next step would be to test the connection P5 pin 8 for 12VDC. If there is not a DC voltage, then the main control is faulty. Read More...
Jamie March 04, 2020 Replaced the control board on a Whirlpool Duet Sport after a failed solder finally stopped working. Now there is no power to the dryer at all. Could this be a faulty new board or did something burn out internally? I saw marks that it had sparked on the metal shelf the control board is screwed onto. Fuse box is fine, nothing tripped but there’s no power at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Jamie, based on the information provided, there could certainly have been further impact when the sparking occurred as this would be a short to ground. With the appliance unplugged, the wires will need to be inspected for any damaged sections. The main control can also be tested to identify if it is receiving 120VAC. However, if the model number could be provided in a new inquiry, this will allow for the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
