Tony November 11, 2015 for Model Number KUDS01IJBS0 Upon disassembly, I discovered that my old dispenser had two sets of wires - one pair to the solenoid, and a smaller guage pair to the "Rinse Aid" area. Bownelink August 17, 2015 for Model Number QU2475XTVQ2 Trying to determine which Detergent Dispenser Assembly is compatible with my Whirlpool dishwasher model GU2475XTVQ2. The Appliance Compatibility Tool indicates it does not, but it looks exactly the same as my current (broken) one. As a note, Amazon shows a part W10195172, which it says is compatible, but that part does not look like my current (broken) one. In particular, the door latch is different.
Thomas August 15, 2015 I installed this dispenser in an older model washer. It works fine but the solenoid makes and an awful loud vibration three times during the cycle for about a minute each time. Is the solenoid bad? Thank you.

Jack G. July 13, 2015 for Model Number KULDS01DJBL The replacement soap dispenser I purchased for KULDS01DJBL does not have an electrical connection for the soap dispenser. The soap dispenses appropriately, but the rinse aid does not. You mentioned in one of your answers that this is supposed to be "like a ratchet". That the second jolt of electrical current would activate the rinse aid. Is the fact that this does not seem to be working a fault of the dispenser or something electrical in the dish washer? Also, how does the rinse get from the dispenser into the wash?
1 Answer Hello Jack, There is a small opening a the bottom of the dispenser assembly that the rinse aid is dispensed through every other time the solenoid is activated. This puts the rinse aid into the tub and it is circulated throughout the washtub by the rinse water. As a note, I believe you will find that the model number will most likely be KUDS01DJBL0.
