Dishwasher Jeff December 08, 2012 for Model Number KUDSO1FLSS6 I have a KitchenAid dishwasher model # KUDSO1FLSS6 and the solenoid on the soap dispenser is chattering loudly. I looked at the wiring diagram and noticed it is only supposed to be activated about 45 sec. When I checked the voltage the solenoid is being energized continuously. Is the solenoid malfunctioning or is this a problem with the electronic controller? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jeff, It sounds like the relay in the control panel is sticking causing power to be constantly be supplied to the dispenser assembly. As you stated there should only be power to the dispenser for 45 seconds. You would need to replace control WP8564543. Read More...
