This flexible door boot seal lines the washer's door opening and seals the gap between the tub and front panel, helping keep wash water contained and preventing leaks from the front of the machine.

  • Creates a watertight seal between the outer tub and front panel/door opening
  • Helps prevent leaks during fill, wash, and spin cycles
  • Flexible design maintains the seal as the door opens and closes
  • Common failure signs: water on the floor near the door, drips from the front, visible rips/cracks, or a loose/deformed gasket; persistent mildew buildup around the boot
What's included: 1 rubber door boot seal Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
  • Remove the front/door panel as needed, then release the outer and inner retaining bands to remove the old boot
  • Note orientation marks and any hose/port locations; seat the new boot evenly all the way around before refitting clamps
  • After reassembly, run a short fill/rinse and check the door area for leaks

Hello Dora. You will have to remove the power. Remove the top. Remove the control panel and set aside. Then un latch the door and set aside. Then with the control panel released, you can reach into the front lip at 6:00 and pull loose the spring loop assy. Then unfold the front part of the door boot and put it in towards the inside of the basket. Remove the door latch screws. Remove the top 3- screws holding the front panel on. Then un fold the panel towards you and lift off the front of the cabinet. Then remove the rear clamp. You can lightly use liquid detergent to put on the front of the tub cover and make sure it aligns correctly at 12;00. Some boots have a arrow or a locator's notch at the top to help align. When you have the front all assembled make sure the boot is not wrinkled. Wipe the door glass completely clean as you create a fresh seal. Reassemble in reverse.

Depending on the load, our washer has some vibration and some times hardly none at all. However, it seems the vibration is getting worse with age. Could this be because the shocks are wearing out (as would happen on a vehicle)? if this is the case and they need to be replaced, how do you get the front panel off to replace the front two? You can get to the rear ones fairly easy by removing the rear panel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello Sonny, You would want to check to make sure that the unit is level and check the rubber feet on the base of the unit. These can cause vibrations. If these check ok then the shocks could be faulty. The way to check is to push down on the tub and see if it pops right back up. If it does not then the shocks are bad. Check to make sure that it is not the pump that is causing vibration. A loose impeller will cause vibration.

Mark, Yes, you could have a collapsed strut WP34001292 or broken mount, or the mounting bolt. You can remove the rear access panel and check the rear struts. You'll need to remove the front panel to check the front struts. You may also remove the washer top panel and check the tub suspension springs WP34001274,and cabinet flange for breakage and damage. We'll be sending you some information to help you out. Thanks and Good Luck
