Jean October 16, 2017 for Model Number AED4675YQ1 My dryer over heat and if left plugged in the timer will keep going I'm thinking it is the thermal cut off but I'm not sure.
1 Answer Hello Jean. It sounds like either the heater is grounded out or the timer is bad. Also, make sure your vent is clear on the unit. Thanks. Read More...
Mario October 01, 2017 for Model Number LER5636PQ1 2 questions: I purchased and installed dryer thermal cut off fuse kit in mid June because no heat. It worked great was very proud to have it up and running again. Now 3 months later no heat again. What's the warranty on part # 279816? Also, the other day my wife had dryer on just to see if it would happen to heat up again. We left home and 3 hours later the dryer was still on and of course no heat. What could be issue with timer?
1 Answer Hello Mario. The timer will not advance without the heat working. However, if the fuse blew again, you have a venting issue with the unit causing it to blow the fuse. Clean out the inside of the dryer and the house vent. Here is a link to our part warranty. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/warranty.aspx Read More...

Chuck August 05, 2017 for Model Number LEQ8000JQ1 I purchased Dryer Thermal Cut-Off Kit Part Number: AP3094244 for model LEQ8000JQ1 but as someone else had identified my model also has no orange wire to the High Limit Thermostat. Only 2 RED wires... I understand that the High Limit thermostat was connected to the left side of the element via a bridge connector. Without the orange present do I simply leverage the jumper provided to connect the lower thermostat terminal as the old one would have done with the bridge?
1 Answer Chuck, Yes that would be correct, you would use the jumper wire in place of the bridge. Read More...
