Roger H. March 19, 2014 for Model Number Model CVE3400 Cooktop How do I get at the unit on our cooktop. Are there screws on the bottom side? Do you have a schematic on the installation?
1 Answer Hello Roger, Discontinue the power supply to the unit. remove the tape and possible screws connecting the ducting in the cabinet. If the unit has braces under the countertop, these will have to be loosened ort removed. Lift the unit from under the counter and set it diagonally on the countertop over the opening, (towels can be placed under the corners to prevent damage to the countertop). You will now remove the screws around the perimeter and the screws around the inside of the top frame. The top should come off to gain access to the inside components. Read More...
Christina January 12, 2014 for Model Number MER5750BAW Hi, I need to replace a Maytag right rear burner (small), Model #MER5750BAW. Is this the correct burner to purchase?
Steve January 06, 2014 for Model Number CHE9800BCE I have a Maytag Slide-In Electric Glass Top Range and one of the 6" elements does not work. The light comes on to indicate that the unit is on, but the element does not heat. I pull the top off and tested for continuity and there was no continuity on this element (others were fine). The part number on the back of the element is 7408P112-60 (or 7406P112-60, hard to tell due to scratch on the number) which does not show up in any of your compatibility lists. Is there another 6" element that will work that I am not finding in the cross reference? Thanks.
1 Answer Steve, The correct part number for the 6" element for your unit would be part number W10823704. Read More...
