This OEM replacement part is an oven control board. The control board serves as the main computer to the oven and controls all its essential functions such as baking, maintaining temperature, as well as turning it on and off. If the oven is no longer turning on, or there is an error code on the digital display, this could mean that the control board is no longer operable. Luckily replacing a control board is a relatively simple process. To begin, make sure to unplug the oven. After the power has been shut off, proceed to remove the upper back panel of the range. Once removed gain access to the old control board and snap it out of the locking tabs holding it in place. Take note of the orientation of the wires by taking a photo with a phone camera. Remove the wire harness and individual wires from the old board and place them into the correct terminals of the new board. Snap the new board back in place and reinstall the upper back panel. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand ovens.

Sarah, Your on track, "F5 E1 Door latch not operating" "1. Verify error code by pressing and holding CANCEL/OFF key for 5 seconds. Verify that the latch motor is operating. 3. Unplug range or disconnect power. 4. If motor did operate, check integrity of latch mechanism from cam/eccentric, through actuating rod, to latch pawl and door slot. Ensure that pawl aligns with the door slot. Correct any mechanical malfunction. Go to step 6. 5. If motor did not operate, check continuity of the latch motor and of electrical connections between oven control and door latch motor assembly. - If continuity is not present, replace door latch motor assembly. - If continuity is present, replace control. 6. Plug in range or reconnect power. 7. Put range into CLEAN mode to verify proper operation." As for the range not having a display or programming, you want to start at the control panel keypad assembly, check and make sure theres no damage to the ribbon betwwen the ERC and Touchpad assembly. Also make sure you have not lost power to the range. Thanks and Good Luck

Hello Lindsey! Per the owners manual: When power is first supplied to the appliance, everything on the display will light up for 1 to 2 seconds, then the time of day and “PF” will appear. Press OFF/CANCEL to clear “PF” from the display. If “PF” appears at any other time, a power failure has occurred. Press OFF/CANCEL and reset the clock if needed. Have you tried pressing off/cancel and resetting the clock? If not, try doing that and see what happens. Post your results. Thanks.

Bob for Model Number Whirlpool GW395LEPS00

Whirlpool GW395LEPS00--Baking cookies today, third batch--375F, set 11 minutes on the timer. Smell burning at 4 minutes left, open oven door, cookies are burnt badly (like they've been broiled?) Shut oven door (to minimize smoke), note that the display still says '375'. Punch cancel to turn the oven off. Try to open door --door is now latched. Let cool to room temp. Still latched. Burners still light, oven seems to operate normally now (if you jack the lock open with a hook tool). Time for a new AP3777769? AP4429328?

Hello Bob. It sounds like the lock has shorted, and you will need to change the lock assembly and the control board. This is what the manufacture recommends. You can test the switches on the lock assembly. If they test good, you may only need the control board. Hope this helps.

Linden for Model Number GW395LEPS01

I have a whirlpool gold gas range. We recently had a power outage and when the power returned the display puts out “PF”. We have tried to reset it by pushing cancel and the display does not respond. We tried unplugging from power for about an hour and still same results. The burners work fine but the controls on the display for the oven do not. I ordered PT11333307 (9760013) Electronic control and when I installed it and gave power back to the range I got "e1-f2" on the display. HELP!

Hello Linden! An F2 - E1 error code indicates that the Keypad cable is unplugged. Check the keypad connector for firm connection, it connects to the control board. Try pressing cancel. If the error code returns after 60 seconds it will need to be replaced. The part number is W10122295. Thanks!
