The Lint Screen Grille is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. It works with the lint screen to capture and collect lint during the drying cycle, preventing it from clogging the vent and ensuring proper airflow.

A bad dryer lint screen grille can be caused by regular wear and tear, accumulation of debris, or accidental damage. If the grille becomes cracked, broken, or warped, it can lead to lint escaping from the lint screen or obstructed airflow.

Symptoms of a bad dryer lint screen grille include:

  • Lint escaping from the lint screen area.
  • Reduced drying efficiency or longer drying times.
  • Visible damage or warping of the grille.
  • Excessive lint buildup in the venting system.

This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.
