Hello David! No, the oven door handle WP74011778 is not used on your Maytag Range model MER5552BAW. For this unit you will use part number WP74011675 for the white door handle and WP7701P523-60 for the bisque door handle. The handle does not include the screw WP74006515. Thanks.

Hello Luke. You will need to remove the oven door from the oven. Then you will disassemble the oven door. Once inside, you can access the screws and replace the handle WP74011768. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
