Bob T May 28, 2017 for Model Number Viking D3: rddff236ss I know the Viking D3 was simply another fridge with different doors. Is this Filter head compatible? Thanks

Daniel April 20, 2017 for Model Number WRF560SEYM00 Hi. I just replaced filter for filter #W10295370A. I've been using this model for 4 years. When I am using dispenser it is OK. Then Fridge uses water to make Ice cubes. After that when I am using water dispenser I hear hammering noise and water not flowing as it should be. It stops when I reattach filter. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Daniel. It sounds like the housing W10844267 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
John January 30, 2017 for Model Number WRS322FDAM02 Recently changed the water filter and there are no leaks and the water flow is good, but there is a noise coming from it when we are dispensing water (like an auger noise). This is the second filter change since we owned the unit and had no issues with the first change. Thoughts?
1 Answer Hello John. If there is no air in the lines, you will need to replace the filter head on the unit. It is bad. Read More...
Heather December 10, 2015 for Model Number MSD2657HES I replaced my water filter as normal and now the water is dispensing at a much slower rate in addition to having hollow ice cubes. There is also a loud hammering noise near the filter head only when I replace the filter. I noticed a small leak at the water inlet valve and replaced that, but the problem is still occurring. Could it be the filter head and housing?
1 Answer Hello Heather. Yes, you will need to order and replace the filter head on the unit. Read More...
Willard B November 13, 2015 for Model Number MSD2351HEW how do you replace the water filter head and tubing assembly
1 Answer Willard, To replace the water filter head, you will need to pull the unit out from the wall and access the water valve. Disconnect the tubing from the water supply and the water valve. Remove the plate over the water lines where they enter the top of the refrigerator. Go to the front of the unit and open the door and remove the cover over the filter. Remove the water valve and disconnect the filter head from the clips. Pull out the waterlines and install the new filter head assembly in reverse. Read More...
Bill July 25, 2015 for Model Number Maytag MFI2296VEM3 When getting water from fridge or icemaker filling the line makes a loud groaning noise. Water comes out anywhere between 20-80% of capacity. The problem persists even with new water filters. When we attach the bypass valve, there's no noise and 100% water pressure. Is it likely a new water filter head and tube will fix it?

Davidl July 15, 2015 for Model Number KBRA22ERSS01 Hi. I have recently installed a new water filter. After the new filter was installed the water dispenses at about 30% of normal. I have tried switching back to the previous filter with the same results. Also when I remove the filter from the filter head, I now get a small but constant spray from the filter head. Can you tell me if this sounds like a problem with the filter head or the inlet valve?
1 Answer Hello David. It sounds like you will need to order and replace the filter head on the unit. Read More...
Emile I D May 01, 2015 for Model Number 401.41003010 Replaced a water filter and a leak developed between the filter and the filter head. Tried two new water filters and same problem. Ordered and replaced water filter head and a new filter and still hae a leak between the filter and the filter head. Filter head does not leak when the filter is removed. This is a head scratcher.
1 Answer Emile, You will want to make sure that the o rings are on the filter when putting it in place. If there are no o rings then this will cause the leak. Read More...
Emile D. April 17, 2015 for Model Number 401.41003010 Replaced water filter and noticed water leaking overnight. Put another filter in and the same results. (each time I ran 3 gallons through to remove air). Ordered and installed a new replacement water filter head and still the same results. What else can cause the leak?
1 Answer Emile, The thing that would most likely cause the unit to drip water at the dispenser would be a water valve. If the water valve is not fully seating it will cause the unit to drip water at the dispenser or the icemaker. The part number for the water valve is DA97-08587A. Read More...
