If you're sure the problem isn't a defrost heater issue, then you will want to remove the control panel and air tunnel cover and check the defrost drain tube for a restriction or blockage (hot water and a turkey baster work well) and check to make sure the drain tube in the compressor compartment isn't out of position allowing air to migrate up the tube and freeze the trough/tube.
