Hello Kate. If you need a new oven door hinge, you will order part number WP74011141 for the unit. You will need to order 2 of these. To get to the oven door hinges, you will need to remove the main top, the door assembly, and the side panel. To remove the main top you will need to take the screws out from the door opening on either side panel. Once the screws are out, you will need to then disconnect the harness at the back of the main top and set to the side. Remove the oven door by opening the door at a 45 degrees and lift the door off. You will then remove the screws from the top and back that hold the side panel in place.

Hello Dave, I would remove the bottom drawer and remove the door from the unit. Now remove the two screws that retain the hinges to the front frame of the unit. The hinges will be accessible by reaching up through the drawer opening and sliding them out. The new ones should go back in the same way. Be careful not to let them catch your fingers since they will have to be set to the "broil" position to get the old ones out and the new ones back in. As a note, the broil position of the door is a factory made stopping place for the door in the partially open position.

Mike, The hinge screws are "self tapping" and will create threads as the screw is driven into the hinge. You may find it a lot easier, if you partially drive the screw into the hinge mounting holes (4 or 5 revolutions), remove it and install the hinge and drive the mounting screw all the way.

Hello Ohbob, The difference in the parts is based off serial number. If you have serial number 10-16 as first 2 digits then you would use part number [APAP4089688]. If you have Serial number starting with 17 or higher you will use part number WP74011141. To remove the hinges you will have to lift door off the hinges by opening door til it reaches first stopping point. Once at this point lift straight up and off. You will have to pull unit out of wall a little to remove the hinges from the side after removing screws.
