Ben November 29, 2018 for Model Number KDTE104ESS1 Dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes. The dishwasher fills with water at the bottom, able to releases the soap (slides down the door), but doesn't actually spray water. I can hit the cancel button and the water will drain out of the tub. I'm thinking its the motor, but I wanted to make sure before purchasing the part.
1 Answer Ben, make sure the micro filter is not stopped up, other than that, you will probably need to replace the sump assembly/motor, part number is WPW10605057 Read More...
Anees August 26, 2018 for Model Number WDT790SLYM2 Looking to order new pump and motor for my Whirlpool WDT790SLYM2 dishwasher. I can't understand the difference between the AP6022145 and AP6023350. Looks like both will fit, is one newer or better in anyway? Just based on numbering the AP6023350 (cheaper one) would be better but your website doesn't say it'll fit my model. Please confirm.
1 Answer Anees, According to the parts list for your model dishwasher the WPW10605057 will be the correct part to use. Read More...
Joseph January 14, 2018 for Model Number WDT780SAEM1 My dishwasher fills and drains but doesn't always wash. Its seems to go through the cycles so not completely sure whats going on with it. I don't hear it wash. That's when I know it didn't work. Its just a year and a half old so i can't see that too much is wrong with it. Any suggestions would be great.
1 Answer Joseph, For this issue you will want to check to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the sump assembly and that the impeller of the pump is not damaged. If this checks ok then check the diverter motor which will be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More...
Paula August 19, 2016 for Model Number 665.13279K116 My dishwasher fills up then never continues to run. It will drain when I hit the cancel button. I cleaned the things that spray out water and spin. I notice when it fills up it also drips a puddle of water on my kitchen floor. Can you tell me what you think might be the problem? Thanks
1 Answer Paula, For the dripping issue it sounds like you may have a seal leak around the diverter motor which is part number WPW10195677. For the issue with the unit not doing anything, it would be recommended to check to see if there is power getting to the wash motor during the wash cycle. If there is no power then the control board will most likely be the issue. Read More...
John May 01, 2016 for Model Number 66513292k112 Both spray arms will not rotate. Will I need a new pump & motor?
1 Answer John, The most likely cause for the unit to run but no water to get to the spray arms would be a clog in the impeller or the diverter motor being defective. The diverter motor part number is W10537869. Read More...
Eli R. September 20, 2015 for Model Number WDT790SAYM0 Water is leaking from the diverter motor W10195076. I'd like to replace the seal. I can't find a part number for the seal, do you have a) a replacement seal part number or b) do I need to purchase the entire sump assembly. If option b) is required, then can I get everything I need if I purchase your pump and motor assembly AP5629542? This would give me the motor as well which apparently is a good idea to replace even if still functioning, because of possible water damage. Thanks!
