Both suspension Spring kits say they are not compatible with my model number. Can you point me in the right direction for my model?

It appears the tub has dropped. The agitator plate is about 1/4 inch above the tub bottom. It now shreds towels when washed. On the new washers, the agitator plate is even. I can pull upon the tub and it is even. I assume the suspension rods or springs are weak as this is an older unit. Other than shredding the towels it works fine. The wife is not happy!

Buzzard62, Based on the description it does sound like the suspension spring kit 905-0113 will be the most likely cause for this issue.

Washer will was fine on any cycle. When it starts spinning with 9 minutes to go it will stop and give the UL code. I have checked the clothes and made sure they are evenly distributed in the wash tub, it will start spinning slow and when it starts to speed up it will stop and give the UL code. Even with very few light items it won't spin past 9 minutes which is when is speeds up. Could this be the suspension rods?

William, Yes this issue could be the suspension springs that are faulty.

Hello Gary. Make sure nothing is between the tub and inner basket. If not, you will need to order and replace the suspension rods on the unit.

Replaced bearing because very loud. Worked great a few loads. Now even though level small loads, gets UL code. Won't finish cycle, at minute 7, will stop or will add to the time and keeps repeating fill, drain, spin cycle. Did diagnostic sequence. Seemed to do everything right. Machine is quiet. Not shaking. Thinking it is not suspension rods. What do you think is problem?

Sheila, The suspension rods would be the first thing to check to ensure that they are in position properly. If they check ok then they may be faulty but also check to make sure that there is nothing loose inside the tub and make sure that the rotor and stator have no damage to them.

Is the Suspension Rods the only thing that could be wrong if the thing is jumping all over when trying to spin. You can try and spin with nothing in it and it will still jump all over the place. I just don't want to get the suspension rods and put them in and it still not work and then have to wait to order some other part for it.

Will this suspension spring kit fit my Maytag Bravo washer model MVWB300WQ1? First of all I replaced the shaft and bearing due to the loud noise while spinning. Now its giving us error ul which means unbalance, will replacing the suspension spring kit fix the problem? My washer is just 4years old.

Lou, Yes the suspension spring kit W10247710 is the correct replacement for your unit. You will want to check to make sure that the rotor and stator do not have cracked magnets and make sure that they are in place properly.
