Hello Scott. You will need to check and see if the control board is sending power to the spark module WPW10331686. If so, and the igniters inside the oven are not sparking, you will need to replace the spark module. If there is no power coming to the spark module from the control board, you will need to replace the control board WPW10114373. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hi Andrew. The oven igniter usually gets weak and will not draw enough current to open the gas valve. It should glow a "white hot",not orange. This part # is WP9758079. Thank you.

Hi Michael. You may need the oven gas valve assembly part # WPW10293048. If both broil and bake are not working at the same time. If your top burners are working well then Without a manometer to test with, I would presume your gas supply is alright. Thank you.

Hello Cecil, from your description of the issue. You could have low gas pressure flow coming into the unit. If the gas pressure is okay, then you more than likely have a issue with the valve WPW10293048. Thanks!

Hello Hector! No, the oven gas valve WPW10293048 would not be the problem, that controls the gas to the oven. Check to make sure that the burner caps and base of the burner is clean and clear of any debris. Check to see if you can light the burners with a match, if you can then you may have a weak spark module WPW10331686. Thanks!

Will

I have a maytag stove/oven that is about 18 months old and already replaced the following parts: timer console (where I key in the time/temp), spark igniter (inside up by the keypad), thermostat/sensor (inside the oven), open gas valve assembly unit. What else could be causing the issue? thanks. What is happening is after about 15 to 20 minutes the oven will not stay on. You can hear the spark igniter light the gas but then it will just go out. So either I have to up the temperature setting (example from 350 to 375) and it will stay until it reaches the 375 and then it will do the same thing, or let the oven cool down then use it for 15 minutes again.

Hello Will. You will want to make sure you have enough gas pressure coming into the house. Sounds like the issue has to do with pressure to the unit. Hope this helps.
