Faulty heating element (lg diswasher) Malcolm P. • Stewartstown , PA • May 02, 2014
The dishes were not drying on our 5yr old LG dishwasher. After removing the front door cover, I verified that the blower motor was operational and the vent was not blocked. I removed the diswasher from the cabinet, accessed the heating element from the bottom of the unit, and found the heating element did not have continuity. The part was ordered on a Sunday, and was at my doorstep on Tuesday at 5:00pm. Reasonable price and great service!
After installing the new heating element, the...

If yor fridgidaire dishwasher is showing an i30 error code do not assume there is a leak Kenneth T. • Vineland , NJ • April 24, 2017
I had to pull and clean the pressure sensor switch four times in a year. Each time more gunk accumulated. When that happens the sensor does not close the water valve. The dishawsher keeps filling and the water comes out through the overfill port. The water then goes in the catch basin under the washer and floats the emergency switch. This cuts off the water but keeps the pump running just in case. Tripping the circuit breaker is only a temp fix. What happens is the water level may have...

Lg dishwasher “ne” or “ue” error code (vario spray arm). Dimitri T. • Cranston , RI • February 26, 2019
This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. Remove screws (now exposed) which secure the top half of the motor enclosure.
Using a 1/8" punch, tap-out the pin that penetrates the planetary gear cover and the motor shaft (takes some finesse to avoid damage to the painted/coated planetary. It is a tight fit!) This will allow the planetary gear and cover to drop.
