Water leakage bottom right of dishwasher door David D. • Venice , FL • November 20, 2014
After discovering your web site and reading of others issues I ordered a door seal (my old one was a little short on the right side) a detergent door grommet, and the 2 water deflectors ( I decided to cover all the bases while I was at it. Very simple job with the information provided on your web site. I certainly have the confidence to tackle other appliance repair now.

Dishwasher was not filling up to normal level, hardly any water was coming in James V. • Annandale , VA • August 31, 2021
First I cleared the food chopper area. There were things there, bits of plastic for instance, but it wasn't the reason for the dishes not getting sprayed off. The dishwasher continued to only partially fill and not circulate the water. I started the dishwasher, let the pump start and then opened the door and filled up the dishwasher manually. It sprayed water as it should, cleaning the top rack quite well. I figured the issue was not the float switch, since some water was coming in. So I...

Bosch dishwasher flooding after freeze. Harold R. • Leander , TX • March 02, 2021
This was not my first rodeo have repaired our appliances and those of our daughters for years, have ordered parts from this site several times. We had a cold spell in Texas, as you may have heard. We weathered it okay but left the dishwasher closed on one of the colder nights, woke up to water on the floor in the kitchen. Turned off the supply line, shut off the dishwasher power, bailed out the bottom, and mopped up. Had a fair idea of what the cause was, checked a few websites, watched some...

Horrible smell from lg dishwasher Tom B. • Perrysburg , OH • October 12, 2015
This filter just captured all the junk in the bottom of my LG dishwasher. There is no cleaning or servicing this thing. You need to replace it. There is NO NEED to pull out the dishwasher. All can be done through the door. Remove the racks. Remove the rotating arm on the bottom (2 screws under the arm). Remove the single screw (on the bottom) holding the tube that goes up the back of the washer. The tube has two clips that need to be spread apart to get the tube completely out of the...

Leaking. Steve M. • Shakopee , MN • April 28, 2020
Upon taking the door apart it looked like the leak was coming from the vent so I replaced the vent cap, vent seal and the transition piece. I did not have to change the seals.
It took me a while to figure out how to get the door apart, but once I did, it was fairly straightforward.

14 year old kitchenaid dishwasher wasn't filling with water (only partially) had to add water during cycles William S. • Annapolis , MD • March 27, 2017
Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. Also the solenoid had to be unclipped and also rotated. Again it was...
