Kitchenaid dishwasher mod #kudp02crbs1 year 2006 front overlay quit working again! Michael S. • Pacifica , CA • January 21, 2018
Our dishwasher quit working again for the 3rd time recently. We researched on You Tube for similar issue, and possible fixes. We had power to the overlay so we ruled out a thermal fuse as most possible problem. Some mode lights would come on when pushed. Tried a self diagnosis test-nothing. Reset circuit breaker-nothing. We had replaced the overlay once two years ago so thought this time it might be a Interconnect Board or a Electronic Board. After consulting with a rep (thank you Joyce) on the...

Removed the cable for touch pad. Fed new touch pad cable into door from top. And pressed cable back into fitting. Reassembled door. Plugged dishwasher back in and reinstalled into cabinet. Only one problem with my repair. I should have plugged in the “New” touch pad to see if it it worked properly. It has a led out on it...

The touch pad controls stopped working over time on our dishwasher Steve A. • Norton Shores , MI • June 06, 2014
I ordered a new Panel-Control. The old one was removed easily by taking out six screws. The old panel lifted, then tilted out. The electronic circuit board was disconnected and attached to the new panel. My new panel did not want to fit in properly at first. The bottom of the panel contained two alignment tabs that the old panel did not have. The stainless steel front panel needed to be cut on top under these tabs for the control panel to properly seat. Maytag quiet series 300 "start" light blinking and would not turn on Chris F. • Middletown , NJ • August 01, 2015
Given that I had 14 house guests for a week, I tried calling a Maytag repair man to expedite the fix - unfortunately, he didn't have the part, but did identify the problem as a bad control panel. I ordered the part (#W10235721) from Appliance Part Pros (which was quick and easy) and received the right part the first time and very quickly.
To replace the control panel, the Maytag guy said about $200 plus the part. If you have a torx screw driver set, you can do this repair in 15 minutes. ...

No lights on dishwasher control panel Matt P. • Yorktown , VA • September 22, 2014
I replaced the control panel. I guess the problem could also have been the control board. I felt more certain about purchasing the control panel after removing the old one, and ohm-ing out pins that should have indicated small resistance when pressing front panel buttons, but all indicated open circuit. A result of moisture that ruined the thin wires in the ribbon cable, apparently a common problem of the Maytag/Whirlpool dishwashers and the subject of a class action lawsuit (Maytag would...
