The freezer was icing up around the door preventing it from closing all of the way John H. • Blooming Grove , TX • May 26, 2015
I checked the freezer and found the door gasket was damaged. When the parts arrived, I checked them for a good fit and the attachment method. Due to past experience of replacing door gaskets, I was expecting a lot of screws that would have to be removed and replaced. To my surprise, the gaskets pressed in place without tools and had a good and secure fit. The instructions the came with the gaskets suggested the hot water be used as needed to remove any kinks that might cause a poor fit. I...

I used the Company's chat line on 11/18/2015 to speak with a representative to make sure I would be ordering the correct replacement part. That was a very helpful and pleasant experience. The agent assured me I would be receiving the part within two days and she was spot on. She indicated I would be receiving an Order Confirmation email with a link to a repair video. Worn out door gasket William E. • Buckingham , VA • June 06, 2016
Instructions are very dumb, but it's an easy fix.
Loosen all the nuts that hold the metal bars that hold the old gasket. (Loosen. Don't take them off!)
Pull off the old gasket.
Slip the new into place all the way around. Get the corners in position, middles can be loose.
Tighten the corners, then work the middles into place and tighten as you go.
Done.

Freezer gasket replaced by 77 year old lady Patricia R. • Florence , OR • July 09, 2017
I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought). To replace gasket I started at top of door, wow, I should have started at bottom. Hated laying on my "belly" to screw in gasket. Ok, I am 77 years old but got the job done. All went okay until I had to close the door, the door would not stay shut. Key: I locked the door for a week. New seal is settling in, freezer is...
