Refrigerator stopped cooling or compressor won't start? The run capacitor provides electrical charge to keep the compressor motor running smoothly.
I have a Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator/freezer which is 8 years old. One day it just stopped cooling. At first I was just going to junk it and purchase a new one. However, I took off the lower back cover and noticed the compressor was not running. I knew from experience that these compressors need a starter capacitor and relay and it is not uncommon for these parts to fail. I looked on the Internet for a video which showed how to remove the parts. I also found a video which showed how... Read more

Replacement roller for refrigerator drawers. Installs on crisper or pan tracks to enable smooth sliding. Order when roller is cracked, broken, or missing.
I purchased replacement parts to completely replace basket, face plate, and rollers. I received exactly what I ordered. The only problem I had was removing the part(s) from the shipping box. I thought the part came assembled (as rollers had been installed onto the basket), but the face plate had not been snapped into place. I watched a YouTube tutorial on "fridge's not cooling". A few troubleshooting ideas were discussed, one of which was to replace the "device start" and "run Capacitor".
