• Noisy

From watching the video I got the general idea, disassemble 50% of the dryer. Only had 2 differences in my dryer from the one used in the video, so the video was helpful. The one difference was the connections to the front side of the dryer were on the power distribution circuit board located on the left of the dryer under a sheet metal cover. These were harder to disconnect with my fat thumbs. The bigger issue was with removing the front control panel. In the video there doesn't appear to be... Read more

Ordered new control knob and replaced broken one. The most difficult part was popping out the control panel so I could access the control knob. I ended up "wrestling" it out. It would be wonderful if the product manual had some guidance on how to pop out all panels. Read more

I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more

Did google search and found youtube diagnostic and repair video. Blower wheel was warped and rubbing on the cover. We ordered a new blower wheel and followed youtube instructions to install new blower wheel. Read more

When starting my dryer the motor would power up and rotoe the drum and blower. Afetr about 20-30 seconds the igniter would come on then the gas valve would open and I would get heat for about 6 or 7 seconds then it would shut off. I know the burner is suppoed to cycle on and off but once the burner shut off it would not come bqack on unless I shut the dryer off and then back on. Replaced the following parts but did not fix the problem: -Thermister -Thermal fuse -Radiant sensor -Ignitor -Therm The problem was the Centrifugal switch. Took the switch apart and use fine grid sand paper to clean the contacts. Put it back and working. Read more

I researched the issue on You tube and found out it could be either the "belt broke switch" or the Moisture sensor. A friend who was an appliance mechanic advised "since you have to take it all apart anyways, its best to replace the belt, spring, and Idler wheel" I bought the 5 item for $52. I watched the video on the AppliancePartsPros for changing out the belt and I replace all items on the list. I initially thought the dryer belt broke (common problem) and found a good video made by appliance parts pros showing how to replace the belt. As I took the dryer apart I discovered multiple issues. Appliance parts pros had all of the parts I needed and instructional videos that gave me the confidence to do the job. Ordered parts on a Sunday afternoon, parts arrived Tuesday morning and was back in business within an hour. Read more

I replaced the idler pulley, belt and motor! Motor was the main culprit. The motor has faulty centrifugal switches Integrated into the motor. When tumbler begins to turn, the switch kills The motor. The only way to fix it is replace the prefectly good motor, with a New switch inside. Read more
