This is my third repair of this type. The first was a stand-alone washer and was very easy, because there was a plate on which the inlet valve assembly was mounted, and it was easily removed. Ordered replacement belt from your co. Read an online tip on how to replace the new unbelievably tight belt... 'Carefully loosen the new belt by pulling it upward with your hands and keeping your foot on the opposite end. Then mount the new belt on the pump assembly ABOVE the pump pulley wheel. Stretch the other side of the belt over the motor pulley wheel. Now roll the pump side of the belt down onto the pump wheel. Apply the silicon lubricant included with the new belt and rotate it... Followed the video- opened the front of the dryer and removed the drum. It was evident that one of the wheels had worn and wasn't turning freely like the other one. The video showed how to remove the roller. Very simple process and now the dryer works just fine. Read more

The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. We took the dryer out of the laundry room and took it apart, after reviewing numerous videos at Appliance Parts Pros for direction. Removed front panel, front bulkhead and drum.
