My frigidaire gas range beeped incessantly with an f10 reading Charles C. • San Francisco , CA • October 22, 2014
I researched online and found that it was probably one of two things wrong: the heat probe or the control board (clock). Since the probe was less expensive, I ordered that on Appliance PartsPros. It arrived SO quickly, and with the repair video I easily replaced it. BUT... it still got the F10 reading. Sigh. So I found a local appliance repairman (I didn't want to replace a more expensive item if it turned out I was wrong). He was a good one: he listened to my story, said he was sure it was the...

The bottom heating element wasn't working in top oven Kevin Scott W. • Parker , CO • January 09, 2015
Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. It would have been except the bottom element my wife used to replace the old element (which was fine but had been thrown out figuring the new one was new so why keep the old one) was 1" shorter in the back than the old...

Unplugged stove. Removed six 1/4 inch socket head screws from back panel. Removed back panel. Removed plug on the back of the OCB. Removed OCB. Used Philips screwdriver to remove four mounting screws (and cracked pieces of the mounting holes). If you can get to this point, installing the new OCB is pretty self explanatory.

Symptoms of a bad oven door seal include:
- Difficulty closing or sealing the oven door tightly

- Higher energy bills from the oven running excessively
- Uneven or unreliable cooking temperatures
This OEM Frigidaire oven door seal is also compatible with some Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and Kenmore wall oven models.

No ignition spark on any of the top burners of fridgidaire oven Ronald C. • Loveland , OH • June 29, 2014
Replaced spark module - oven was less than two years old. Like a lot of new gas ovens, turning on any one burner to 'lite' sends sparks to all 5 top burners. The difficulty was getting to the spark module, as some generic videos show access to it from the upper panel on the back of the oven, but it wasn't there. Had to take off the entire top burner panel of the oven to get to the module, and then it was simple to replace the module by transferring the wires to the new one. I did see on...

The Igniter Orifice Assembly is an OEM component for Frigidaire gas ranges. It is an integrated assembly housing both the electric ignition wire and adjustable gas orifice or restrictor needed for controlled gas flow.
Symptoms of a bad ignitor orifice assembly include:
- Burners failing to light or requiring multiple igniter clicks
- Flames that are irregularly shaped, oversized, or yellow-tipped
- Burners ignite but flame size is not adjustable across settings
- Gas smells were detected without an obvious leak at the connections
Over time, normal use can cause an orifice to deteriorate or crack while ambient gases degrade igniter wires.
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

The Oven Safety Valve is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire gas ranges. This valve controls gas flow to the oven burner.
Causes of a faulty oven safety valve can include wear of sealing surfaces due to prolonged heating and cooling during cooking cycles. Exposure to food or liquid residues over time may also affect valve function.
Symptoms of a bad oven safety valve include:
- The oven not heating up despite the igniter working correctly
- A smell of gas indicates a leak or uncontrolled release
- Inconsistent oven temperatures or heating patterns
- The oven failed to maintain the set temperature
This Frigidaire OEM replacement part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and some Kenmore models.

Gas would not flow; oven would not start Stan G. • Hancock , NY • March 09, 2017
My tenant thought that the oven safety valve was bad, but after some research, I found that the transfer of heat from the igniter had to be sufficient enough to cause the valve to open.Your agent confirmed this and reassured me that even if the igniter was glowing, there was a 99% chance that it wasn't getting hot enough. I ordered the igniter, and also the safety valve just in case, as we were going to be fixing this on Christmas eve, so the oven could be used for Christmas dinner. Your agent...
