The Dispenser Drip Tray is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. It's placed beneath the water and ice dispenser to catch drips and spills, preventing water from running down the front of the refrigerator or onto the floor. This part not only helps in keeping the dispensing area clean but also minimizes the risk of slip hazards caused by wet floors.
Over time, the dispenser drip tray can become stained, cracked, or warped, affecting its appearance and functionality.
Symptoms of a bad Dispenser Drip Tray include:
- Persistent stains or discoloration that cannot be cleaned
- Cracks or warping that prevent the tray from fitting properly
- Water leakage due to the tray not catching drips efficiently
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Melted the water dispenser parts trying to unfreeze the water line Janie M. • Pasadena , CA • February 18, 2015
Was an easy swap. Ordered the pieces, got them withing two days. Didn't realize a hair dryer would melt so much of the plastic pieces that I couldn't even see while trying to defrost the water line in the door. Next time it happens I will just empty the freezer and leave the door open for a few hours. Will save me from making this mistake again. Thankfully easy to replace the parts myself and not too expensive.
