The screw is used with a washer when installed. This screw does not require a nut; it connects directly into the oven part, where it has a built-in receiving nut. If this happens, replacement screws must be purchased and installed before the oven can be used. This screw is a silver metal replacement part that is sold individually. It does not come with the washer needed to install it. Verify the number of screws needed before ordering. This screw is designed for use in ovens manufactured by General Electric and Kenmore.
