Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more

Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
This 10-32 terminal block nut fastens wire lugs to the appliance's terminal studs. Replacing a missing, stripped, or corroded nut restores a tight, reliable connection and helps prevent heat damage or intermittent power at the connection.
The oven temperature was low and the heating time excessive. However, the range display showed the requested 400F, even though the oven was really 250F. Because the oven displayed an inaccurate temperature, I ordered an oven sensor, a heating element, and a terminal block. Replacing the heating element fixed the problem. The element I received was the same shape and size, but the supports were not the same. However, I think it must have been a design change after mine was manufactured... Read more
Controls heat to a range's cooktop element. This infinite switch restores smooth, precise temperature control when a surface burner won't heat, only stays on high, or won't shut off.
GE does not make the switch anymore so I ordered Two Jenn Aire switches which was a similar product that is also out of production. I replaced the defective switch with the replacement part even though it was a different design. There were no wiring instructions with the switch and all the terminals were in a different location on the replacement switch. Through trial & error, I got it wired properly and it works. During disassembly, the other identical switch fell apart but I had ordered... Read more

Good info on the webpage. Took me about one hour to repair which is longer than expected but that included cleaning up the pans and rock which was overdue. Here is the process: 1)Turn off breaker and verify no power; 2) remove cooking grates, rocks, and steel grates from both sides (for access and weight reduction); 3) remove a total of 10 Phillips screws from inside the pans on both sides (8) and the temp control knob box; 4) Now you can raise the pan so you can access the nuts from the...
