Follow the trio ubshooting flow chart inside of the microwave panel - and read articles on this website. Turned out to be a thermostat that had popped and gone bad. Replace the thermostat and it is good to go. Read more
There are four screws that hold the handle in place, my handle was down to one. I had to pry off the inner door cover. I used butter knives, but a thin screwdriver should work as well. Start on the outside edge (away from the hinge) near, but not in, the upper or lower corner. Slip the knife in between the inner door cover and the outer door shell, gently pry loose, working around the cover. It isn't necessary to remove it entirely, but I did so that I could clean it. This exposes two of... Read more

Located the necessary parts that needed to be replaced and then purchased them on AppliancePartsPros.com at a savings. I had decided in advance to replace as many parts that made sense to restore it as close as possible to its original state. Replacing the turntable motor was very easy. The magnetron, capacitor and diode was a little more time... Read more

Found coupler completely loose, shaft attachment point disintegrated; melted? On motor, plastic-like material stuck on shaft. Easily found matching microwave model on AppliancePartsPros.com and matching parts. Oddly, like other appliance parts sellers, the motor was listed for about $60, but a second equivalent one for about $23. Photo matched original. Ordered the cheaper motor + coupler, perfect matches to original. Motor is easily accessible by easily removing the microwave bottom cover with... Read more
I purchased two lamp sockets and two lamp bulbs and fixed the microwave myself. It took approximately 25 minutes to change out the sockets and put the new bulbs in. My lights on my microwave are working perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Read more
