This is a 25 year old built-in over-the-range appliance. Only previous problem was 1 failed door switch (of 3 total), replaced 2 years ago. I replaced the motor by removing 5 screws from the bottom of the microwave and 1 screws from the motor. Very easy to replace, I didn't even have to remove it from the wall (I unplugged it just in case). Read more

After some research, and based on the symptoms, consulted with repair person and figured it was the most common 3 parts (magnetron, capacitance, diode, and threw in a new fuse). So spent $190, and service tech came, replaced them, all good again. All done in an hour. Read more

Simple fix, after determining the fuse was good and not getting voltage to it, I followed the schematic and tested the TCO. It was the problem. Ordered it from APP and received it 5 days later. Changed the part and Voila, Microwave back in action. Read more

Connects the turntable motor to the glass tray in your microwave. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore smooth rotation and prevent slipping.
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. Their is a tab that holds it in while the motor is in place. If you pry it up you will break it, trust me. ;) Turn the motor out of its housing and it come right out.... Read more
