The Idler Pulley is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. It helps guide and maintain tension on the dryer drum belt, ensuring the drum rotates smoothly during the drying cycle.
Over time, the idler pulley can wear out due to friction and regular use, or it may become damaged from excessive strain or misalignment. If the idler pulley fails, the dryer drum may not rotate properly, leading to inefficient drying or a complete inability to dry clothes.
Symptoms of a bad Idler Pulley include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
I replaced the spin bearing, tub seal, washer and drive belt since I had it all apart. The video was extremely helpful...I would have tore the whole thing apart trying to figure out how the agitator came off....but it was very simple. Read more

The trunnion is the hub that mounts the washer's inner tub to the drive shaft. Replacing a worn hub restores a solid, centered connection so the basket spins smoothly without wobble, slip, or grinding. What it does:
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I had the whole washing machine apart and went through it all before ordering parts. Tear down and assembly was easy. I just took my time. The washer is 17 years old and was well built. It was worth it compared to what is on the market today, and cheaper. Read more

This genuine OEM part is a washer motor. The washer motor is the main engine that drives the washer tub allowing it to rotate and wash clothes effectively. After continuous use, a washer motor can become inoperable. If the washer is no longer spinning or the power has significantly decreased, it might be a sign that the motor needs to be replaced. To replace the motor, start by unplugging the washer. Once unplugged, move the washer away from the wall to gain access to the back panel. Uninstall the back panel by removing the screws that attach it. After removal, locate the drive motor and proceed to unthread the mounting bolts holding it to the washer. Proceed to pull the old motor out of its place. Make sure to detach the wire harness and any individual wires on the motor. Reinsert the wires into their correct terminals and install the new motor by threading the bolts that secure it. This replacement part is sold individually and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, Sears, and Kenmore brand washers.
The washer was on, and I heard a faint humming sound in the laundry room. I went in and opened the washer and it was full of soapy water in the middle of its cycle and was not agitating. I also smelled a faint burning smell. At this point I figured the problem was a bad motor, as the washer is more than 20 years old. I have fixed it twice before, because the first time, the repairman said I should keep this washer going as long as possible. It was made to last with a metal drum, unlike newer... Read more

I ordered a door/lid switch kit and an actuator and replaced them both. I probably didn't need the actuator, but it probably didn't hurt to replace it. The only issue I had was that the switch didn't seem to fit that well when installed on it's own, along with the actuator. So, I used the plastic shield which I had, along with the switch and actuator, as well as the old screws, as the screws that came with the kit were not long enough to accommodate the switch, actuator, and... Replaced transmission. If you have a laundry center like me, you don't have alot of space. Replacing the parts want difficult. Just limited space made it harder. Also couldn't find a removal video for one of these but using a video for a frigidaire stand alone washer ouput me in the ball park and figured it out from there. Appliance parts pros had the best process too! Read more
