Seals the water injector connection in your washer to prevent leaks and frost buildup. Replace if you notice water leaking or moisture around the inlet area. Confirm fit with your model number.
1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. Small drive gear inside the washer transmission gearcase that meshes with mating gears. Replace when worn, stripped, or damaged to restore power transfer.
American appliances are very easy to fix in comparison to imported ones. Just open the washer and take de transmission cover out change the pinion inside removing a simple retainer. In the agitator there is a screw that you loosen it take it out, then de tub and take the shaft out and put a new seal and a new c clamp and reinstall everything back. Top-loading washers are very easy to fix in comparison to front-loading washers that are very difficult to fix. Read more

I followed the Appliance Parts Pro's advice videos for the Maytag MAV6451AWW Atlantis washer on replacing the snubber ring and the suspension springs. Bought a new hose and took one small cover off the back of machine, used pliers to remove clamp, took off old hose, put on new, replaced clamp, replaced cover and was done. Five minutes tops. Read more

Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. I took the machine apart and installed a new brake rotor , Brake stator and a snubber ring, after the install the machine works great and no more squeaking. I will say one thing about AppliancePartsPros.com that when I first received the order the brake rotor was new in the sealed bag but the brake material wasn't attached to it, customer service was helpful and sent me a new part the next day. Washer won't advance through cycles or gets stuck in one mode? Replace the timer to restore proper wash, rinse, and spin sequencing. 15-30 minute repair.
After the timer quit we had one more load to do so we ran each cycle manually, advancing the timer by hand through the pre-soak, wash, rinse, spin cycles. That told us there were no problems with the other switches. Pulled the back off the control assembly and it was no big deal to get the old timer out.
