Replacement mounting screw for refrigerator panels, handles, brackets, and internal fixtures. Order when original screws are stripped, lost, or damaged.
I wasn’t sure where I could get parts for the fridge, Google brought me here. Super easy to look up model #’s and locate parts by type/location with the appliance map. I needed to change the racks and the doorstop. The racks were super simple. I would have succeeded with the doorstop too, but the holes at the bottom are stripped and the doorstop wasn’t secured correctly in the first place. So that’s frustrating, but appliance parts pros were easy to use, parts came quickly and The video from... Read more

Dryer not heating? A failed igniter is the most common cause. This part ignites the gas burner for heat. Watch the video for step-by-step replacement.
I looked on Appliance Parts Pros. com and read the problems that others had and replacing the ignitor made sense so I ordered one. It came by UPS within 3 days. I watched the video on how to replace it. Everything went easily, except the screw that held the ignitor in place was a philups head screwdriver and I couldn't get a screwdriver into the small space I had to work in so I went to Harbor Freight Tools and bought an inexpensive 90 degree rachet screwdriver for $2.99 and it worked great.... Replaces missing, stripped, or rusted 8-18 thread screws that secure dryer panels, brackets, and components for tight, rattle-free assembly.
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to... Read more

Ice maker freezing over or heavy frost buildup? This defrost thermostat controls your refrigerator's defrost heater. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
Got the infamous icemaker freezing up problem so common to Frigidaire Gallery and Professional series refrigerators. I was also only getting the "OP" code on the diagnostic test 26, so I determined the defrost heater and/or the thermostat was probably bad. So, I went ahead and replaced both of them, as well as installed the updated air handler housing kit. What I didn't realize from the parts pictures was that the air handler kit was not only updated foam replacements, but it was also a... Read more
