The Crisper Pan is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This pan is designed to store fruits and vegetables at an optimal humidity level, helping to keep them fresh for longer periods. It slides into the lower section of the refrigerator and provides a clear view of its contents, making it easy to organize and access your produce.
Over time, the crisper pan can become damaged or cracked due to regular use, accidental impacts, or overloading. A damaged crisper pan can lead to inefficient storage and potential spoilage of fruits and vegetables.
Symptoms of a bad crisper pan include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
We ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros. The parts came in well packed, I installed them and everything is back to normal. I was a little surprised there is a step in the base of the new pan, but it does show up that way in the drawings. It is just different than the original. Read more
This 15 uF capacitor kit supports an AC motor by providing the phase shift needed to start and run smoothly. Replacing a weak or failed capacitor can help resolve hard-start or no-start issues and restore consistent performance. What it does

This door lower hinge bushing installs in the bottom of the refrigerator door and rides on the hinge pin to create a smooth pivot point. Replacing a worn bushing restores proper door alignment, quieter movement, and reliable sealing.
Replaced upper and lower thimble's, lever arm, cam closure. Door stop was not the problem, but ordered it and replaced it too. The door of course has to come off, remove the top hinge, and lift it away. Lubricated moving parts with silicone spray. Be sure and put the door back in the open position, so the lever arm and cam closure can properly interact, then close the door. Remove the plastic grate at the bottom to get at the lever arm. Presto. Problem gone. Don't put excessive weight... Read more
This door thimble is the bushing that lines the upper hinge on your refrigerator door, supporting the hinge pin so the door swings smoothly, stays aligned, and helps reduce squeaks and wear.
The Dispenser Lever is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This lever activates the dispensing mechanism, allowing you to release water or ice from the refrigerator's dispenser.
Causes of a bad dispenser lever can include regular wear and tear, damage from excessive force or mishandling, and breakage due to frequent use.
Symptoms of a bad dispenser lever include:
I bought two parts. The dispenser housing shield and the funnel ice dispenser. I watched the short video on how to put it back together and I was done in just a matter of minutes. The video was such a big help. I forgot how the spring went on and was able to watch the video and put it back together in just a matter of minutes. I know I must have saved a couple of hundred dollars on a service call. Read more
This armature kit is the moving plunger and linkage operated by the dispenser solenoid. It opens and closes the ice chute door during dispensing and helps it seal when idle to reduce frost and warm-air leaks.

This slide-out freezer shelf restores a smooth, stable storage surface and easy access in the freezer compartment. Replace a cracked, hard-to-slide, or missing shelf to regain capacity, organization, and the spacing your freezer was designed for.
This refrigerator lamp socket holds an E12-base appliance bulb and provides the electrical connection for the light fixture. Replace it when the light won't turn on or flickers despite a known-good bulb and functioning door switch.
When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open. I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video. The door will now open when dispensing ice (which it does!), and will oddly stay open for a few seconds once I am finished, but does seal properly and the chute/container no longer frosts over. This fan-mount grommet fits the evaporator or condenser fan assembly to isolate vibration and keep the motor aligned. Replacing a worn grommet can quiet rattles and prevent the fan blade from rubbing the housing. What it does:
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
This defrost heater and bracket assembly melts frost from the evaporator during the automatic defrost cycle, restoring airflow and stable temperatures so your refrigerator and freezer cool as designed. What it does:
After doing a lot of web searching about the problem. It all came down to AppliancePartsPros.com. Watching the repair videos and learning what to do made the job a breeze. The only difficult problem was to thaw out the ice build up on the coils, which took 2 hours. The rest was easy. now I have a freezer/ fridge that is working like new. The total cost of the parts was less then having a repairman come out to look at it. AppliancePartsPros saved me a lot of money. Thanks! Read more
Refrigerator primary ice and water dual coil water inlet valve. For the filter valve order WR57X10024. For the assembly including both the primary and filter valve having the short bracket order WR57X10026. For the assembly including both the primary and filter valve having the long bracket order WR57X10022.
First, I had to remove the cover plate on the back of the refrigerator. Then I unscrewed the water inlet valve from the rest of the assembly. I then unplugged the electrical contacts by pulling them apart. There are two fittings on the valve. One has a nut on it. That one just needs the nut unscrewed, after which the pex tubing can be pulled out. The other one has a pex connection. This one can be separated by simultaneously pushing in on the fitting neck while pulling the pex tubing out. On... Read more
This ice dispenser auger drive mounts on the dispenser motor shaft and engages the ice bucket auger. Replacing a worn or stripped drive restores the connection so your refrigerator can move ice smoothly to the chute.
The auger in ice bucket was frozen and locked in place (some how liquid water must have spilled inside and froze the shaft and bushing). When the motor was activated to deliver ice, the jam caused the motor shaft to strip the threads. With the threads stripped, there is no way (that I could find) to get the drive auger off of the shaft (btw, it is left-hand threaded). Apparently the Drive Auger is made of stainless steel - a harder metal then the motor shaft. To repair it, I removed the... Read more
The Freezer Light Cover is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators designed to protect the light bulb in the freezer compartment from any potential damage or breaks. It helps maintain a safe and well-lit freezer environment, making it easier to locate and retrieve items.
A bad freezer light shield cover can occur due to regular wear and tear or accidental damage. If you notice symptoms such as a flickering or dim freezer light, or if the light bulb is exposed and vulnerable, it may indicate a need to replace this part.
Symptoms of a bad freezer light cover include:
Restore lighting in your freezer by replacing the faulty freezer light cover with this genuine OEM part.
This GE part can also be used on Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore/Sears appliances.
Replace solenoid, flapper door and recess spring. Really only needed solenoid, but other parts were so inexpensive and I knew I would already be in there. Read more
Water line from water valve up to icemaker fill tube.
Thanks to the AppliancePartsPro, I ordered it online and received it quickly. I even used the step by step directions on how to replace the tube from the AppliancePartsPro website. Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things: 1. Take a picture of the existing wiring and tubes before you take them apart. 2. *if* you remove the wires ( red and white plugs) from the valve, make sure you plug them back in correctly. 3. Do not pull or push the tubes hard. Use... Read more
The recess door retainer secures the dispenser's ice chute flapper in the refrigerator door. Replacing a cracked or missing retainer restores proper flapper pivot and sealing to help reduce frost buildup and air leaks around the dispenser.
