• Door won't open or close

The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy. Oven is a slide in. I pulled it out just a Few inches and removed 8 screws and Pulled the face down to expose the unit. The control unit had 4 screws and 4 Plugins. It only took me less than 10 Minutes to replace unit and slide back In place. Read more

Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

I ordered the replacement part and undid two screws on the front of the cooktop then used a nut driver to undo the clamps holding the burner in.I took a picture of the wiring then used needle nose pliers to gently pull the connectors off the terminals. reinstalling you just line up the new burner with the old one and screw the clamps back on. there are no predrilled holes the screws just bite into the insulation. The parts were easy to find using the diagrams and the burner elements were marked 17 & 15 so I placed my order. Parts were here in a couple of days.
