Let me tell you that the videos made by AppliancePartsPros.com are what I needed most. They are simplified and complete. It turned out that because of a loose connection at the power terminal block, it over heated, melting the block and of course frying the wiring and distorting the connections. I took the easy fix first and replaced the Capacitor. That got me three loads before the motor burned out. I ordered the motor from AppliancePartsPros.com after a google search for "best price model # 134159500 Drive motor " The part arrived in 5 days, and it took about 15 minutes to remove the old motor and replace it with the new one. • Doesn't shut off
• Timer will not advance

With a Phillips screw driver, on the back of the control panel there was about 6 or 7 screws to undo, to take the cover off and 2 screws holding the timer in place. Just undone those, took out old timer, made sure I took wires from old timer one at a time, and, put on new timer. Put everything back, although I had to find a couple of very small washers to make the timer fit tight, in the 2 holes it came out of. Luckily I had those or would of been a very loose timer. Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. Pulled front cover off of dryer and back plate to get belt on. Remember to always shut breaker off to machine and test to make sure no electricity is running to it. Pretty simple. I also replaced the seal to the air duct where the lint filter sits since I had to take the front the off anyway. About 1 hr of time to complete and I'll be 60 years old this month.
