Replace the ball sensor. Also known as the out of balance sensor . Another confirmatory clue was when I ran the QC diagnostics . The moment I ran the first diagnostic test, the spin test, I got a bE (ball sensor) error code in the display and the drum would rotate slowly. When I replaced the sensor the drum ran at very hig speed the moment I entered the diagnostic. Stepwise disassembly, taking photos along the way. 7-8 screws to remove old top. Had to uplug all motherboard plugs to get wire harness through the top peice. Took care to number the 10 wire harness plugs in the motherboard to aid in replacement Part was OEM. Fit perfectly. Probably saved $200. Read more
I ordered the door from Appliance Parts Pros, which was on back order. When it arrived I had already removed the broken door. Please be sure to save your parts as the new door only came with one bushing for the door. Read more
I explained to the representative the piece that was missing on my washer. I had given him the model number etc. He was very helpful to make sure I got the right part he checked it three times just to make sure it was right. I received the part in a very timely matter. This front load washer drive motor stator includes the rotor position sensor switch (RPS). For the RPS switch only order 6501KW2002B.
My washing machine had become increasingly loud during the spin cycles and you could feel a slight resistance when manually spinning the drum.
