Replaced washer drive block and Cam. I called around and finally settled on Appliance Parts Pros because they helped diagnose the problem, told me what parts to replace and had videos to show me how to do it. This was my first attempt, ever, to repair a washing machine. After looking up the model number of my washing machine on AppliancePartsPros.com I ordered the suspension rod kit, two sets of tub centering springs (one spring per corner), a Ring-Tub (mine was breaking apart due to banging around) and a spare suspension bearing kit in case I need it later. It was a fast fix. its a Maytag Centennial Top load washer. it took me about 20mins to remove the pump and instal the new one.Most of the time was spent moving the washer. Read more

I purchased the lid latch assembly and the lid switch strike. Following the clear video instructions for each part, my handy teenage son was able to remove the lid latch assembly and replace it with the new part as well as the lid switch strike. The washer is back to working perfectly for under $100. Appliance Parts Pros carry the parts to repair and at a lower cost than other online retailers. Rebalanced the load but noticed the drum was sitting lower and the springs were wore out and it went out of balance easy, so i got the suspension rod kit and installed it and it works much better. It took me 2 hours because i didnt have adequate room to move around. Hour job if you have room. Read more
