Bad bearings on Whirlpool Cabrio washer Fred B. • New Braunfels , TX • October 30, 2018
After ignoring for a couple of years that the bearings were bad on our Whirlpool Cabrio washer and just closing the door to the laundry room, it started slinging grease underneath during the spin cycle. Knowing that the cost to call out a repairman would be close to the cost of a new washer, I decided that it would be a nice Saturday project after reviewing AppliancePartsPros’ repair video. The bearing & tub seal kit and bearing installation tool arrived in two days. I’ve done a lot of...

At high spin the washing machine tub was unbalanced and banging from side to side and then shut down Jonah T. • Richardson , TX • December 17, 2019
I called a repair guy who came out to specifically replace the suspension rods because I read that if you push down on the tub and it bounces around, then the rods have worn out. After running the diagnostics, the repair guy tried to tell me it was because the lid was not locking correctly! After expressing concern that this makes no sense, he continued taking things apart and noticed the agitator rollers were all broken and told me this is probably causing the tub to be unbalanced. I...

Cabrio whirlpool washer after a heavy washer load the drum went out of balance and threw a f51 code indicating the rps sensor needed replacement James F. • Cary , NC • August 15, 2015
Disconnected the water lines and unplugged the washer. Tilted the machine on its front side 3/4 of the way as machine still retains some water even after drain. From bottom of the machine I used an allen wrench to remove screw in center of shroud and remove plastic shroud containing the magnets along its sides thar drives the motor. Then using a 3/8 socket i removed the 4 bolts holding the retaining plate holding the magneto ring. I used a small plastic garbage can side to rest the...

My washing machine smelt horrible Bryan W. • Ogdensburg , NY • August 20, 2018
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available....

Agitator drive failed W J. • Panama City Beach , FL • February 26, 2023
I had to cut the old agitator out with an oscillating saw in order to access the agitator drive. This is the second Maytag (MVWC 565) I have had to do this to. I first tried removing it by sliding straps under the agitator then then using a jack to pull it loose which did not work either time. One suggestion I have would be to remove debris from tub as you cut in order to prevent it from dropping from the inner tub into the outer tub.

The lint catch was broken Misti P. • Spokane , WA • January 18, 2019
This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one.
