I ordered a new switch from APP and fixed my fridge. However, the video posted for this repair on this site is not applicable to newer refrigerator models. I have a 2015 GE GTE18IHCRSS and had to drop the control housing (#432 in the diagram) to attach the wire/plug assembly to the switch. Ordered this Freezer Door Bottom From Appliance Parts Pros and they sent a GE Original gasket from their Fresno warehouse. To remove the old gasket just peel it away, it's only held in by a single channel, then clean the area.
