Fix a broken or cracked dishwasher door handle that won't latch or close properly. This door latch assembly restores secure closure. DIY install in 15-30 min.
I am 68 years old. What that means is that have seen enough in my life. And with the exception of Amazon.com. Every website on the Internet is a gamble. You can never really tell what kind of a company you are dealing with just from a website no matter how fancy it looks. I tried other Parts suppliers on the web before, and they were just what you expect: OK but nothing to brag about. With that attitude I came to this company, and after ordering the part, receiving it, installing it, dealing... Read more
Door won't latch or stay closed? This dishwasher door latch assembly secures the door and activates the safety switch. DIY-friendly repair in 30 minutes.
The first part I ordered was cheaper but did not include the handle. Cents I had plugged it in I figured I couldn't return the part. So I ordered the correct part and it was a piece of cake to install. The one thing I didn't understand was why they sold that part why out the handle? After looking very close I could have never put the handle on the latch assembly, and I have a lot of experience at things like this! Read more
Replacement silverware basket for dishwashers. Holds and organizes utensils during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, broken, or falling apart.
Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm. I discovered the Flappers of the Docking Station (AP6009888) were worn out and/or missing. I removed the Docking Station simply by popping the old one off... Read more

Secures water and drain hoses in washers to prevent leaks. Replace if connections loosen or clamp shows corrosion. Confirm fit with your model number.
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Dishrack wheel assembly for dishwashers. Replaces broken, cracked, or worn wheels that prevent smooth rack sliding. Includes wheel and axle bracket.
Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair. Get plenty of towels because a lot of water can get... Read more
Foam insulation strip seals the dishwasher door perimeter to prevent leaks and moisture entry. Replace if compressed, torn, or causing water drips.
About a month ago, a sporadic drip was noticed on right hand bottom corner of dishwasher. Puddle would vary in size but nothing major. My first inclination was to change the door gasket (~$35 at a major online retailer) as this seemed reasonable to me and was a straightforward fix. Next wash cycle, no drip. However the drip returned the wash cycle after that, however this time at a different spot along the bottom of dishwasher door. I then replaced a deteriorated corner door seal (~$17... Read more
Connects dishwasher door to tension springs for balanced opening and closing. Replace if cable is broken, frayed, or detached from mounting points.
Normally when you let go of the dishwasher door partly open it would stay in that position. But lately when you let go of the door it would fall to the fully open position. Turns out this little cable was broken one one side. Just puss the dishwasher slightly out of the cabinet and you can replace the cable in minutes. It is just held in place with a spring. Read more

Fixes weak spray and poor cleaning caused by a worn impeller. Mounts on the circulation pump to drive water through spray arms. DIY-friendly repair.
Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade. Video on Motor Seal Kit page made it an... Read more

Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more

Installed a new hose and coupler and now it works perfect again.
