• Doesn't shut off
• No heat

The first symptom was our microwave would continue to run after the time was up. The light would go out, the turn table would stop but you could still hear the microwave running and whatever was in it would continue to cook. The only way to stop it was to open the door. Removed light cover. oven was above range type and light assbly is at rear bottom of unit. access and visibility of bulb sockets a bit difficult, Usen hand hell mirror to assist . Bulb extraction and insertion a snap. Read more

Installed both filters in minutes. Filters were a perfect fit. Read more

I ordered the replacement lens from AppliancePartsPros.com. They shipped it quickly and when the part cam in I just swapped it out for the broken lens. Read more

Wife let me know the microwave was making grinding noise while I was in garage fixing her car starter, never a dull moment. Further questioning she also said it wan't heating the food. Due to being an odd sized built in $$ unit I had to have repaired. I was getting quotes in the $4-500 range for just the magnetron. I was pretty confident the magnetron was the issue and also ordered a new capacitor and diode since I was going to be in there and a lot of money ahead repairing myself. About... Read more

I ordered the door switches, switch monitor and the lever switch. i replaced all of the parts and the oven started to function only to have it fail again after 2-3 operations. I eventually determined that the main fuse holder was not completely securing the fuse. i believe the combination of new switches and realigning the fuse clip solved the problem. Read more

• Tray won't turn

Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. Their is a tab that holds it in while the motor is in place. If you pry it up you will break it, trust me. ;) Turn the motor out of its housing and it come right out.... Read more

This is a 25 year old built-in over-the-range appliance. Only previous problem was 1 failed door switch (of 3 total), replaced 2 years ago. First checked all 3 door switches with continuity tester, all ok. Had advice to check thermostat switches, which were all supposedly NC (normally closed), used same tester. Purchased a home built in 2015. The wall cabinets were terraced out from the wall with the center one being out the furthest. Microwave was mounted too far back so that the vent grill was under the cabinet causing discoloration to the door. Additionally, the vent hole in the cabinet was off center so the exhaust fan flap couldn't open.
