When in the spin cycle the washer was very loud. Richard M. • Arlington , WA • July 21, 2021
I knew from the loud sound during the spin cycle that the bearings were going out, I ordered a gearcase part number W11455453 (AP6993918) which has the bearings, tub seal, and shaft altogether which makes the repair much easier to complete. I will say you should also order the spanner wrench it makes taking the spanner nut off and putting back on much easier also, part number TB123B (AP6832671). With this model washer, you don't have to take the tub out you just need to take the washer plate...

Washer not spinning end of cycle Jeff C. • Morrisonville , NY • November 21, 2014
Using appliancepartspros.com site took washer apart to diagnose bad clutch. The clutch was bad but once inside I noticed grease everywhere and after a quick online chat with rep. determined gear case was leaking and needed replacement. Replaced clutch & gear case. Followed video tutorial and took a little more than 30 minutes start to finish for me - I have no experience. The most difficult part for me was actually just getting the retainer ring (little wire) to secure clutch in place-took...

LG front load washer door gasket needed replacement due to mold buildup Howard F. • Port Orange , FL • April 15, 2020
If you have an older model WM8000H_A you MUST pay attention to the type of door gasket (boot seal) that it uses. Every video I could find for replacing the seal on the WM8000HWA involved a different product than what was required for our specific washer. I wound up getting the wrong one by ordering it without help and had to exchange it - after I had the machine taken apart. Thanks to AppliancePartsPros I got the correct seal and front retaining ring the next day.
NOTE! The retaining rings are...

Washer basket was loose banging/knocking when running eventually gave a 'load out of balance code" Dwayne D. • Hopewell Junction , NY • September 29, 2014
The repair was fairly straight foward as shown in the video. However, driving the shaft from the bearings took some doing. It required replacing the use of the board with a spare bolt and a 2lb hand sledge. (having an air hammer as reserve, also not a bad idea) I rated this reair as a "1" however I've been an auto mechanic for 40 years. If you do not have good general mechanical ablities you may find this more challenging as you get it further apart. I suggest anyone making this repair should...

Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WH16X513
The Drain Hose Clip is an OEM part for GE washing machines. It secures the drain hose to the back of the washer, preventing it from becoming dislodged during operation. This ensures that water is properly directed out of the washer and into the household drain system, preventing leaks and water damage.
Causes of a bad drain hose clip can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from improper handling during installation or maintenance, or breakage due to repeated stress and movement of the washer.
Symptoms of a bad drain hose clip include:
- Water leaking from the back of the washer
- Drain hose detaching or becoming loose during operation
- Difficulty securing the drain hose in place
- Visible damage or cracking on the clip
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
Note: For the entire drain hose, use part number WH41X10096.

Bearings in gear box M N. • La Vista , NE • April 29, 2024
Bought new Transmission/gear box.
Putting in the new one was easy. Taking the old one out was a nightmare. The corrosion on the spanner nut and drive block was awful. Ten years of VERY hard water and six kids made for a lot of corrosion and hard water crystallization.
I do not own a spanner wrench. I am not sure having one would've helped. I tried pipe wrenches, needle nose vice-grips and many other ways. What eventually worked was taking a three inch ratchet extension, putting it...

Squealing during spin cycle and very weak agitation Elijah S. • Stockton , CA • May 24, 2015
My parents have the older 80 series washer and dryer that gets used way more than a consumer washer and dryer was ever meant to be used. The washing machine finally said im tired. During the spin cycle it was making a really loud squealing noise and during the agitation cycle it would barely agitate the clothes. So i ordered the basket drive to get rid of the squealing during spin cycle and noticed the dogs on the cams were warn and werent grabbing so ordered the whole cam kit to be safe...

My washing machine smelt horrible Bryan W. • Ogdensburg , NY • August 20, 2018
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available....

Stuck on 1 minute moldy and white film on dishes. Ben W. • Vienna , VA • January 01, 2018
On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. At first, I thought it was the heater relay on the control board, but I pulled that relay and it seemed to be working. I could get an ohmmeter on the heater element without taking the bottom off the dishwasher, and the resistance was infinite. Replacing the heater did the trick.
On my unit there was a...
