So I ordered the correct part and it was a piece of cake to install. The one thing I didn't understand was why they sold that part why out the handle? Dishrack wheel assembly for dishwashers. Replaces broken, cracked, or worn wheels that prevent smooth rack sliding. Includes wheel and axle bracket.
Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Connects dishwasher door to tension springs for balanced opening and closing. Replace if cable is broken, frayed, or detached from mounting points.
Normally when you let go of the dishwasher door partly open it would stay in that position. But lately when you let go of the door it would fall to the fully open position. Fixes weak spray and poor cleaning caused by a worn impeller. Mounts on the circulation pump to drive water through spray arms. DIY-friendly repair.
Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade.
