This air vane is a genuine MTD part and a genuine OEM part. This air vane can be used as a replacement part for snowblowers and lawn and garden equipment engines. The function of the air vane is to maintain precision tension in order to keep the small outdoor appliance engine running. Air vanes may be replaced during the process of basic engine maintenance. If there is an issue with the precision tension of the snowblower, lawn mower, or other appliance at hand, there might be a problem with the air vane.
