Dennis for Model Number JVM1490BD003 I have removed the "choke cover?" and can see the upper handle screw, but the bottom screw is still covered. It looks like that part is held in by 6 screws but after removing those the part is still secure. What else is holding that part?
Answer Dennis, Once you remove the choke cover, you need to raise, remove the door latch and spring WB10X10021 and remove the lower door handle screw. " DOOR DISASSEMBLY 1. Insert flat type small screwdriver into the gap between choke cover and lower right corner of the door frame first and then around the seal plate to free engaging parts of choke cover. 2. The latch can be removed by lifting up the latch until pins clear mounting holes. 3. Disconnect spring. 4. Remove the door handle with/by unscrewing the two screws." Read More...
