Winks for Model Number 596.73509201

I replaced Adaptive Defrost (Part Number: AP4010220) the frig only gets to as low as 40 in the frig and around 35 in the freezer. " Did you check and make sure the damper control belt was properly installed and set properly on the knob and that the control knob is set at the mid range of the settings?"----Yes I set it more them once "What about the freezer, does it seem to be cooling well"----it is cooler then then the frig but not by much. So i think i may need to replace the Thermostat. If put it cold it is one temp change the knob it stay the same temp. The manual does not show a Thermostat. I am willing to try part or two. this Frig suck.

Answer

Hi Winks. Are the condenser coils on the back/ bottom area clean? You use a coil condenser cleaning brush to keep theese clean so it don't boil the freon. The brush is part # TJ103. Is the condenser fan (in back) operating well? If not then you need fan part # 12002738. Is the evaporator fan motor working well (freezer) , if you need this it is part # 12002225. The cold control is part # WP67003000. The defrost thermostat is part # WP67003426. The defrost thermostat is part # WP67003426. Use this part if the freezer inside back wall has frost build up on it . Thank you.
