How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5690431 / A00126401 Drain Pump Assembly

Replaced the drain pump motor and cleaned the screen. 

I visited AppliancePartsPros website, entered the part number for my dishwasher and looked at the possible solutions draining issues. I knew because I was not hearing any noise from the dishwasher when I attempted to drain it, that it was likely the drain pump. I purchased the drain pump, it arrived within two days using the second cheapest shipping option (can't recall what the option was called). Once I got the part, I followed the instructions in the video and repaired the dishwasher. I took me under a half hour from start to finish and that included mopping up the water that spilled out when I turned it on it's side. The inside was dry as was the hose drained but still a lot of water came out, so put some towels on the floor before you turn your dishwasher over. This was an easy repair, thanks to AppliancePartsPros fantastic website! 

Replaced the drain pump. I watched your repair video. That was a huge help because it involved the actual part I was replacing. 

I replaced the drain motor which did nothing. I cleaned out the drain hose and it worked perfectly. I spoke with my appliance person (after I replaced the motor) and he said that most of the time when it will not drain it is because of a clogged line. I should have called him before I embarked on changing out the motor. So check that first. Anyway, it was really easy to change the motor.

It was very easy i did it all myself in about 15 min If your lines are long enough you don't need to disconnect. 

Drain pump replacement, the repair was quick however it took forever to get the dishwasher out and everything disconnected. I paid extra to get the part delivered quicker and it was here in two days. 

Replaced it with a new one 

Ordered a new pump. Three screws and two wires were all it took. works great 

First finding the solution in your website was so easy. I ordered the part and it arrived a day earlier than expected. I watched a video about the repair on your YouTube channel. The video explained everything and easy to understand language and demonstration. The only issue I came across was one of the screws was difficult to get to, but using the correct angle I was able to get it.
