How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3794323 / WD12X10109 Fine Filter

This is a 2011 model, and has always worked perfectly until now. It just accumulated a significant buildup of powdered soap residue inside the swing arms and plugged up the jet holes. I replaced the upper, middle and lower spray arms, as well as fine filter and hub nut, using parts I ordered from appliancepartspros.com. I also consulted the "how-to" videos on the appliancepartspros.com website. 

First I took off the spinners and saw they were clogged. I tried to reopen the holes that were clogged but did not have any luck. Found the parts on line, they arrived in two or three days then I installed them and the dw is working fine! BTW I am 71 years old. I felt it was easy to find needed parts, install them myself and avoid a costly home repair or purchasing a new unit. 

Using the videos that were supplied on the Appliance Parts Pros website I was able to determine the source of the water and successfully replace the failed part. I also looked at some of the other videos and soon discovered that my filter screen was also clogged and the outlet was totally blocked which was another easy fix once I followed the video instructions. While at it I decided to also replace the tub seal and door gasket as well. All told, approximately $80, one hour of time including time to watch the video and my dishwasher is performing like new!

Originally came to appliancepartspros.com seeking tutorial videos for repairs related to dishes not getting cleaned. After seeing how easy the repairs would likely be, ordered some parts commonly associated with my problem. Parts arrived quickly so I set out to fix the dishwasher using the tutorial videos as reference. As I was replacing some of the parts I noticed the sump was falling apart. Ordered it and replaced it as well. The new parts fit much tighter so made reassembly slightly challenging but manageable. After all is said and done, our dishwasher works again!

I ordered and installed a new fine filter. Part arrived earlier than expected. Installation went smoothly. 

I ordered the part, plus few others that needed replacing, then watched your videos and completed the repairs. 

Replaced the lower spray arm and fine filter. Followed the instructions in you videos and it was a snap. 

I went on YouTube and found how to deep clean a dishwasher. As I started to clean, I found broken parts that needed to be replaced, so I replaced them.
